Catering by City Pork. Costume/mask strongly encouraged. Kelsey Livingston’s artwork explores the concepts of ephemerality, and potential through a visual metaphor. She uses birds and space imagery in a combination of printmaking processes to form anthropomorphic narrative imagery. She is interested in the relationship one has to their own mortality and place in the cosmos. She’s working through questions like: How does one deal with oblivion? Does the knowledge of death affect how one approaches new life, or the concept of potential? Each work is representative of a moment her life. The title of each piece is meant to hint at its message. Influenced by writers like Carl Sagan, Gaston Bachelard, she looks to others who talk about phenomenology through the lenses of science and philosophy.

1734069600 Arts & Theatre "Mind Of Echoes: Faces In Color" Art Reception Cary Saurage Community Arts Center December 13, 2024 December 13, 2024 6:00 PM 9:30 PM Welcome to mind of echoes, an exploration into the intricate interplay between memory, emotion, and identity. This exhibition invites you to delve into the metaphorical and literal echoes that resonate within the human mind, revealing how past experiences shape our present selves and influence our perceptions of the world. Just as echoes bounce off surfaces and fade gradually, so too do our experiences and emotions leave lasting impressions on our psyche. the artist has captured the essence of these echoes—how they linger, transform, and influence our lives. Witness the fragmented nature of memory through mixed-media paintings. The artworks explore the duality of memory—both its clarity and its elusiveness. These works of art symbolize how memories are often pieced together and reinterpreted over time. Our sense of identity is deeply intertwined with the echoes of our past. This is a journey through the memories and emotions that define our human experience. We hope this exploration of the mind of echoes foster a deeper understanding of the ways in which our past continues to resonate in our lives. Ciara Sanders is not just an artist; she is a visionary who transforms blank canvases into profound narratives, and her journey is a testament to the power of creativity, dedication, and passion. Her work is an invitation to embrace the beauty of life and culture through the lens of art, and her future promises even more vibrant and playful creations that will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark on the world.
